FALL/WINTER 23/24 NOMINATION
Première Vision Paris is a selective show. The Selection Committee goes through tens of thousands of fabrics before each show and selects items that match the selection criteria to be included in the PV marketplace and to be considered for the Fashion Forum Awards.
For FW23/24, Shinkong has another season of stellar performance. We have a total of 9 fabrics nominated through PV’s competitive review process. Included in the SPORT & TECH and Eco-Innovation Forum selections, all 9 items are made of recycled, recyclable (circular mono-material), or other sustainable materials and engineered to incorporate high-performance technical features.

This dobby seersucker is made largely of recycled polyester. Its 3D textured surface form mini wicking points on the reverse side, which prevent the fabric from sticking to skin when sweating. With the bio-based wicking and anti-bacterial finishes and the UPF50+US rating, the quality provides comfort and freshness as it shields you from the harmful UV rays.

This cheerfully colored double weave is made of recycled polyester. Because of its two-sided construction, either side could be the face/right side of the fabric, which is great for reversible clothing. Water repellent (PFC-free) and UV protective, this double weave makes an excellent candidate for sports and other activities outdoors.

This laminated twill is made of circular polyester (recycled pre-consumer waste). The bio-based membrane is breathable, allowing water vapor to escape while keeping light rain from getting to you.
